Currently oddsmakers have the Chiefs posted as -3.5 road favorites with Andy Reid leading the charge. The Kansas City Chiefs are likely going to make the playoffs this year. Solid play from Alex Smith has netted the Chiefs a spot in the eventual AFC Wild Card game. This playoff game could give the Chiefs the boost they need in order to make it into the Super Bowl this season.

The Chiefs don’t turn the ball over, which is a huge positive. The Chiefs are extremely efficient on offense. While the team doesn’t put up huge numbers, they do make the best of their possessions. The Chiefs have a good running attack with Charcandrick West and Spencer Ware sharing snaps.

Jeremy Maclin has emerged as Alex Smith’s number 1 target. This connection between the duo has proven to be a winning combination, as the Chiefs have won 8 games in a row. With the Chiefs finishing out the season against the Raiders, the Chiefs could have a double digit win total going into the playoffs.
