Round 1 of the NFL playoffs are in the books and as we move into Week 19 and the second round of the NFL post-season we take a look at updated Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl odds for the 2016 NFL Championship game.
The Kansas City Chiefs handily defeated the Houston Texans in the AFC Wild Card game by a score of 30-0. While the Chiefs are certainly playing good football, the Texans have had quarterback issues all season which may have contributed to the shutout.
The Chiefs have earned the right to travel to Foxborough, MA to play the New England Patriots in the AFC Divisional game. The Chiefs will certainly have their hands full, given the fact that the Patriots always seem to find ways to score. Tom Brady has shown that he can win games in the clutch, so if the game is close in the 4th quarter, the Chiefs will have to bring their best defensive effort to pull off a win against the Patriots.
Currently, online sports books have the Chiefs listed as a 24/1 longshot to win SuperBowl 50. Obviously, if the Chief have success against the Patriots, the Chiefs will likely get more favorable Super Bowl betting odds in the coming weeks. If you think the Chiefs have what it takes to pull off the upset against the Patriots, it would be wise to lock in your future wagers now, given the fact that the Chiefs will only look more appealing to other bettors should they pull off an upset against the Patriots.
