When they face their NFC East rivals in their first meeting of the 2018 season. The game will be played on Sunday, September 16 at AT&T Stadium. It is scheduled to begin at 8:20 PM. ET.

  • New York Giants Analysis
  • The Giants are coming off a 20-15 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. However, they have plenty of reasons to be optimistic about their chances on Sunday night.

The Giants faced one of the best defenses in the league. Their offense, which was one dimensional last season, looked good against the Jaguars.

Eli Manning completed 23 of 37 passes for 224 yards and one interception. Rookie running back Saquon Barkley looked good in his debut, finishing with 106 yards and one touchdown on 18 carries. He also had two receptions for 22 yards against the Jaguars.

Odell Beckham Jr., who missed most of last season with an injury, caught 11 passes for 111 yards against the Jaguars.

New York’s defense also did a great job against the Jaguars, especially against the run, and they should be able to keep Ezekiel Elliott in check.

  • Dallas Cowboys Analysis
  • The Cowboys didn’t look very good in their game against the Panthers, and didn’t score their only touchdown of the game until the fourth quarter in what was a sloppy offensive game.

Dak Prescott, who struggled last season, finished the game completing 19 of 29 passes for 170 yards. He was also sacked six times by the Panthers and lost one fumble.

NFL Week 2 Picks and Predictions

Ezekiel Elliott finished the game with 69 yards and one touchdown on 15 carries. The Cowboys receiving corps struggled against the Panthers. Cole Beasley finished with seven receptions for 73 yards, and was the only Cowboys receiver to have more than 30 receiving yards.

Without Jason Witten, who retired in the offseason, and Dez Bryant, who was released by the team/ The Cowboys offense was out of synch. If their receivers can’t do a better job of creating space, the Cowboys will be in for a very long season.

The Cowboys are favored to win this game by 3 points. The over/under on total points scored is not yet available.

After watching their performance against the Panthers, there is no reason the Cowboys should be favored to win this game. The Giants will be able to throw and pass against their defense and their offense will likely struggle again so take the Giants +3.
