Saints Take on the Rams

The New Orleans Saints will put their eight game winning streak on the line when they visit the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday afternoon. The game will be played at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, and is scheduled to begin at 4:25 PM. ET. The Rams betting odds are favored to win the game by 2.5 points. The over/under on total points scored is 49. Despite their record, the Saints have been shaky on the road, so take the Rams -2.5 and here’s why you should.

New Orleans Saints Analysis: After an 0-2 start to the season, the Saints were written off because they have underachieved over the past few years. However, the team showed their resiliency and have reeled off eight straight wins since.

As expected, their offense has been one of the best in the NFL, scoring 30.2 points per game. Their defense though has been a bit of a surprise, and are holding opponents to 19.6 points per game, which is 9th in the league.

On Sunday, the Saints lost defensive standout Alex Okafor for the season, which is considered a big blow to their defense. But they will have to figure out how to win without him as they get ready for the playoffs.

For New Orleans to get this win on the road, they will have to play very well against the run because the Rams will likely focus on running the ball after being shut down by the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

Saints Rams Week 12

Los Angeles Rams Analysis: The Rams are still in the mix for home field advantage throughout the playoffs, but their performance against the Minnesota Vikings didn’t instill a lot of confidence in their fans.

The Rams, who went into the game with the best offense in the league, could only manage seven points against a very stingy Vikings defense.

Los Angeles will try to establish the run against the Saints, who have had some big running games against them. But they will also need to score some points through the air to keep the Saints’ defense guessing.

The Rams defense will also have to do a better job against the run, after allowing the Vikings to rush for 171 yards and 2 touchdowns on Sunday.
