Although Super Bowl 49 is being played in the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, the game was originally scheduled to take place in Kansas City. Some things fell through and Kansas City didn’t work out and the home football stadium of the Arizona Cardinals was chosen as the replacement for the Super Bowl’s original site. The Super Bowl will take play on the first Sunday of February which is February 1st 2015. Pop singing sensation Katy Perry is scheduled to highlight Super Bowl’s halftime show. The Super Bowl is know for being a pop culture event in American history because of the talent the event attracts for the halftime show. Some of the first Super Bowl halftime shows featured the marching bands of local schools.
