The Saints also had to overcome a slow start in their last game, but they managed to put the Bears away thanks to a great defensive effort that held the Bears to three points until Jimmy Graham’s last second touchdown at the end of the game.

They played well in two meetings against the Buccaneers, holding them to 26 total points. They will need another solid defensive effort if they want to get past Brady and the Buccaneers.
Offensively, the Saints finished with 21 points. Brees threw for 265 yards and two touchdowns. Alvin Kamara rushed for 99 yards and one touchdown, while Deonte Harris finished with 83 receiving yards.
The Saints are favored to win this game by three points. The over/under on total points scored is 52.
The Saints played well down the stretch and against the Bucs during the season, but, I still don’t trust them because they tend to shrink in big games, like they did against the Vikings last season. Even though the Bucs were inconsistent at times, they played well down the stretch, especially on offense and will find a way to get past the Saints. Take Tampa Bay and the over in this one.
