This weekend we have the Saints and Bucs. Next, Buccaneers 2021 Super Bowl betting picks. The New Orleans Saints will be trying to advance to the NFC Championship Game for the second time in three seasons when they face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday night. The game will be played at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and is scheduled to begin at 6:40 PM. ET.

The Buccaneers played well in their first season with Tom Brady, winning 11 games. They overcame a slow start against Washington in the Wildcard game and put them away in the second half. They will try to avoid another slow start against the Saints, who won both meetings during the regular season.

Tampa Bay played well offensively against the Football Team, finishing with 31 points. Brady threw for 381 yards and two touchdowns. Leonard Fournette finished with 93 rushing yards and one touchdown, while Mike Evans had 119 receiving yards.

The Buccaneers didn’t play as well defensively, giving up 23 points to a team that had their fourth-string quarterback under center. With the team going up against Drew Brees, they will need to play better if they want to get the win.

The Saints also had to overcome a slow start in their last game, but they managed to put the Bears away thanks to a great defensive effort that held the Bears to three points until Jimmy Graham’s last second touchdown at the end of the game.

They played well in two meetings against the Buccaneers, holding them to 26 total points. They will need another solid defensive effort if they want to get past Brady and the Buccaneers.

Offensively, the Saints finished with 21 points. Brees threw for 265 yards and two touchdowns. Alvin Kamara rushed for 99 yards and one touchdown, while Deonte Harris finished with 83 receiving yards.

The Saints are favored to win this game by three points. The over/under on total points scored is 52.

The Saints played well down the stretch and against the Bucs during the season, but, I still don’t trust them because they tend to shrink in big games, like they did against the Vikings last season. Even though the Bucs were inconsistent at times, they played well down the stretch, especially on offense and will find a way to get past the Saints. Take Tampa Bay and the over in this one.
