This when they face off in what was supposed to be last season’s AFC Championship Game matchup in this week’s edition of Monday Night Football. The game will be played at M&T Bank Stadium and is scheduled to begin at 8:20 PM. ET.
The Chiefs were firing on all cylinders in their season-opening win over Houston. However, they struggled in their last game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Also, needed a 58-yard field goal from Harrison Butker to get the win on overtime.
Their biggest problem in their last game was their inability to run the ball. Rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, followed up his impressive debut with 38 yards on 10 carries.
Defensively, the Chiefs struggled against the pass. Giving up 311 yards, 1 touchdown, and one interception to rookie quarterback Justin Herbert, who was making his first career start. They will need to play better if they want to get past the Ravens.
NFL Week 3 Online Chiefs Ravens Betting Odds
The Ravens have cruised to easy wins in their first two games, and will be looking forward to their first chance to avenge last season’s Week 3 loss to the Chiefs and establish themselves as the team to beat in the AFC.
Lamar Jackson hasn’t put up the type of numbers he did earlier last season, but he has been the key to their success, leading the team in passing and rushing. Marquise Brown has played well in their first two games and leads the team with 143 yards on 10 catches.
Defensively, the Ravens are giving up 11 points per game, which is the best in the league. However, they will be facing the best offense they have come across this season and will need to be at their best to get the win. The Ravens are favored to win this game by 3.5 points. The over/under on total points scored is 53.5.
The Chiefs looked shaky in their first road game of the season and will be facing the toughest defense in the league this week, which doesn’t bode well for them. They struggled against the run in their last game, giving up 183 yards, and will have a hard time slowing down Jackson and the Ravens, who are averaging 170.5 rushing yards per game. Take the Ravens-3.5 and the over in this game.
