The NFC West leading Los Angeles Rams, will be putting their four-game winning streak on the line when they travel to the Twin Cities to take on the Minnesota Vikings. The game will be played at U.S. Bank Stadium, and is scheduled to begin at 1 PM. ET.

  • Los Angeles Rams Betting Analysis

The Rams continued their surprising run this season with a win over the Houston Texans on Sunday, giving them their fourth straight win and sixth in their last seven games.

The Rams, who had relied heavily on Todd Gurley and the run game, put the ball in quarterback Jared Goff’s hands, and let him do his thing.

Goff carved up the Texans defense for 355 yards and 3 touchdowns, and the Rams blew the game wide open in the second half.

The Texans, who were playing without rookie sensation Deshaun Watson, struggled once again to put up points against their opponent for the second consecutive week, after scoring 30 or more in five straight games under Watson.

  • Minnesota Vikings Analysis

Like the Rams, the Vikings weren’t given much of a chance this season, especially after their starting quarterback and running back got injured for the season.

Despite the injuries, the Vikings haven’t skipped a beat thanks to their defense, which is one of the best in the league, running back Latavius Murray, who has done a good job filling in for the injured Dalvin Cook, and Case Keenum, who seems to have found a new home in Minnesota.

The fact that Keenum played for the Rams for two seasons, before being benched for Goff last year will be one of the top stories of the week, but Keenum will need to focus on executing the game plan and not trying to get revenge if he wants to help his team win on Sunday.

The Vikings are favored to win by 2.5 points. The over/under on total points scored is not yet available.

This will be a very interesting game, but the Rams have a better body of work than the Vikings so I’m picking Los Angeles to cover the spread.
