The NFC West title and the top seed in the NFC will be on the line Sunday. This when the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks renew their rivalry in the final Sunday Night Football game of the season. The game will be played at CenturyLink Field and is scheduled to begin at 8:20 PM. ET.
The 49ers knocked the Los Angeles Rams out of playoff contention with a win on Saturday night. However, they were unable to clinch the NFC West title because of an earlier loss to the Seattle Seahawks. They will get a chance to win the division. Also, the top seed in the NFC with a win over Seattle on Sunday night. NFL Week 17 is the last regular season of NFL.
Since the Seahawks also have a chance to clinch the division title with a win, expect a hard fought game between two teams that aren’t very fond of each other. This will be a huge game!
Jimmy Garoppolo came up big for the 49ers in the final drive of their win over the Rams, but he struggled for most of the game and threw two interceptions. Some of the mistakes he made were due to the fact that his offensive line didn’t do a good job protecting him and gave up six sacks, but he will have to do a better job protecting the ball if they want to win this game.

The Seahawks dropped out of contention for the top seed in the NFC when they lost to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. The loss also came at an additional cost with running backs Chris Carson and C.J. Prosise going down with injuries.
Seattle struggled against the run in their last game. Giving up 166 rushing yards and two touchdowns to Kenyan Drake. With the 49ers having the second-best ground game in the league, the Seahawks will have to play better against the run to give themselves a chance to win this game.

The 49ers are favored to win this game by three points. The over/under on total points scored is 47.5 for NFL Week 17.
The Seahawks haven’t lost to the 49ers at CenturyLink since 2011. However, they are dealing with a lot of injuries at the moment and will have a hard time slowing down San Francisco’s ground game. Take the 49ers -3 and the over.
