Are we to expect a Antonio Brown trade soon? Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown created some drama at the end of the season after deciding to sit out the team’s regular season finale. He added more fuel to the fire last week when he officially demanded a trade from the only NFL franchise he has played for.
Brown followed up the trade demand with an Instagram post thanking Steelers fans for their support over the years and letting them know it was time to move on.
A few days later, Brown held a Q&A session on Twitter, shedding some light on what happened in the locker room that prompted his trade request.
One of the problems Brown said he had with the team was quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s attitude and the way he treats his teammates and coaches.
When asked what caused the conflict he had with Roethlisberger, Brown said, “No conflict just a matter of respect! Mutual respect! He has an owner mentality like he can call out anybody including coaches. Players know but they can’t say anything about it otherwise they meal ticket gone. It’s a dirty game within a game. #truth.”

Brown also explained why he decided to leave the stadium before the team’s regular-season finale, placing the blame on head coach Mike Tomlin.
“After the coach tell the team I quit while nursing some bumps then invite me to watch the show with same guys thinking I quit I cannot stand with that! I’m the bad guy doe we miss post season think about it.”
After spending last week airing out his dirty laundry, Brown is expected to meet with Pittsburgh Steelers president Art Rooney II. A few days after the regular season ended, Rooney said the team was open to trading Brown, he also added that both sides can still find a way to make things work.
