If tomorrow’s Super Bowl 47 did not already have enough of a storyline with rookie quarterback Colin Kaepernick of the San Francisco 49ers going up against the 17 year veteran Ray Lewis and the Baltimore Ravens, many have forgotten about the Ed Reed Vs. Randy Moss Super Bowl 47 showdown. With Ray Lewis giving more speeches in the last two weeks than any politician has before him, the attention for tomorrow’ Super Bowl will fall squarely on the Baltimore Ravens defense versus the San Francisco 49ers’ offense.
Ed Reed was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the first round in the following year after the Baltimore Ravens and Ray Lewis won their first ever Super Bowl in franchise history. Since then Ed Reed has been pounding the pavement trying to get his team back there. Then on the other side of the ball you have verteran Wide Receiver Randy Moss, the self-proclaimed best Wide Receiver to ever play in the NFL. Moss, originally drafted by the Vikings, has since played for the Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots, and Tennesee Titans, before taking a year off and finding his way to the San Francisco 49ers. Although neither Reed or Moss are planning to retire as this Super Bowl game, it is quite apparent that the free-agents may have a tough time finding their way back to a Super Bowl on Super Sunday, and only one of them is guaranteed a Super Bowl ring after tomorrow’s game. If you are still debating on who to place your Super Bowl online bets on then consider that if Ed Reed is able to shutdown Randy Moss, the San Francisco 49ers still have a whole other slew of offensive weapons including Colin Kaepernick that can run the ball in himself. When it comes to Super Bowl online betting you never know what is going to happen but all you can do is bet with your gut and not listen to the oddsmakers or statisticians.
