The Seattle Seahawks will be trying to gain some ground on the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC West when they go against the Arizona Cardinals, who are still adjusting to life without quarterback Carson Palmer. The game will be played at University of Phoenix Stadium on Thursday, and is scheduled to start at 8:25 PM. ET.

What is going on with the Seattle Seahawks this season? The Seahawks blew a chance to stay a game behind the Rams on Sunday when they lost at home to the Washington Redskins. Despite the loss, they are still in the thick of the NFC playoff race, but they can’t afford another loss to a team they are supposed to beat this week.

The Seahawks will also be trying to start a new streak, after their four game winning streak was snapped by the Redskins.

With Palmer out for the Season, Seattle’s defense should be able to contain Arizona’s passing game if they can stop the run early or jump out to a big lead with their 10th ranked offense.

Kicker Blair Walsh, who missed three field goals against the Redskins will also need to be more accurate if he wants to keep his job.

Week 10 Seahawks Cardinals Peterson

Is Adrian Peterson back to his old self? A trip to the Bay Area must have been what the doctor ordered because the Cardinals were able to bounce back from their 33-0 loss to the Rams with a win against the 49ers this week.

The Cardinals will also be trying to snap their trend of alternating between losses and wins because they are 4-4 and still have a shot of making the playoffs.

Arizona has had a lot of success against Seattle recently because they have been able to run the ball effectively. Expect the Cardinals to feed Adrian Peterson the ball early and often as they try to establish their run game and open up the play action passes.

Our NFL Week 10 betting prediction for the TNF game is to take the Seahawks and the points and here’s why. The Seahawks are favored to win this game by 6 1/2 points. The over/under on total points scored is not yet available. The Seahawks will dominate the Cardinals offensive line and force a few turnovers as they win this game by a wide margin. Take Seattle -6.
