The New England Patriots Tom Brady were defeated by the Houston Texans on Sunday Night Football in a game that wasn’t as close as the score indicated.
Even though the team struggled offensively in the game Brady doesn’t think there is cause for concern. Also, Brady expects the offense to get better down the stretch.
“I know there are very high expectations, as there are for us. I think the expectations for our team are often at a very, very, very high level. We understand that. But at the same time, I think there are realistic expectations with our circumstances and incorporating different elements and players and injuries.” Is it time for Patriots Tom Brady to ask for Antonio Brown again? Robert Kraft says no.
“We’re just trying to do the best we can do. We have our whole season ahead of us, and we have to learn from the things we did last night and try to go out there and get a really tough win against K.C. and see if we can get back to winning.”
Can Patriots Tom Brady Rebound in Week 14?
New England’s offensive struggles are mostly self-inflicted. The team signed and released All-Pro receiver Antonio Brown after playing just one game. Fellow receiver Josh Gordon was also released . This despite the fact that he was about to return for IR and could have helped their passing game. Rob Gronkowski’s retirement after last season also hurt the team offensively because he was one of Brady’s most reliable targets. What else can go wrong going into Super Bowl 2020?
Brown has been campaigning to return to the Patriots on social media. However, insiders say ownership is not interested in bringing him back.
For the most part, Brady believes the offense just needs to be more consistent. Is this attainable?
“Sometimes it’s been good. Other times, we obviously have work we have to do. That’s just part of playing football,” he said. Does the Patriots Tom Brady have another Super Bowl in him? “Sometimes people have it figured out early, and some people, we’re trying to figure it out as we go. That’s just part of it. That’s just part of what we’re dealing with. Just going to keep trying to go out there and put our best out there and hopefully it’s good enough.”
